Following a student's B'nai Mitzvah, Temple Israel's Youth Leadership (TIYuL) program provides a vital, consistent Jewish education designed to help your child build a strong Jewish identity and foster lifelong friendships and connections. We have thoughtfully curated the structure of this program to offer engaging classes that meet less frequently than traditional Religious School, providing space while maintaining a schedule for learning and connection. The Jewish Story

Our Temple community will provide treats for the Monroe Elementary faculty during their parent-teacher conference days and at other times throughout the year. If you enjoy baking, we’re in need of home-baked or store-bought goodies.

Join us for a tasty Tu B'shevat-themed Seder filled with traditional dried fruits, nuts, and seeds (representative of the harvest season) followed by a special holiday Shabbat service for all ages.

We warmly invite all Temple Israel members and Preschool families with young children ages 0-6 to join us for our next Playground Meetup. You don’t have to be enrolled in DECC to participate — this gathering is all about fostering connections among families.
