TI's Thanksgiving Dinner
Sunday, Nov 23rd 9:30a to 12:00pA huge mitzvah to ensure our neighbors in need can cook, eat, and celebrate surrounded by those they love! Join us this Thanksgiving season to package meal kits and/or donate toward meal kits and fresh turkeys for distribution by the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry.

Tuesday, Dec 2nd (All day)Giving Tuesday is a day of radical generosity and an opportunity for people around the world to come together to thank, help, give, show kindness, and share what they have with those in need.
Faculty Hospitality & Appreciation Drive for Monroe Elementary
Monday, Dec 8th (All day)Our Temple community will provide treats for the Monroe Elementary faculty during their parent-teacher conference days and at other times throughout the year. If you enjoy baking, we’re in need of home-baked or store-bought goodies.
Holiday Gift Store for Monroe Elementary
Wednesday, Dec 10th 8:00a to 1:30pTo ensure that each child has a holiday gift this season, we’re creating a Gift Store at Monroe so parents or caregivers can select an item and have it beautifully wrapped by volunteers. Drop off new, store-bought gifts in the collection bin located near the May Chapel entrance. It’s a Hanukah mitzvah!

7th Annual Winter Outreach Donation Drive for the Unhoused
Shabbat, Feb 28th (All day)As temperatures drop across the St. Louis region, those experiencing homelessness bear the brunt of the brutal cold. For a 7th year in a row, the Jewish community is coming together to gather winter clothes, warm outerwear, and shoes to donate to those in need. (December 2025 - February 2026)
Monroe Elementary Snack Collection
Shabbat, Feb 28th (All day)Let's warm tummies and hearts with a snack collection for Monroe Elementary! Temple Israel is collecting individually packaged snack donations to support the hard-working students at Monroe Elementary through the spring semester. Drop off individually packaged, store-bought snacks now through February at the Education Center at drop off or pick up, or at the Temple’s May Chapel entrance at your convenience.

Mother's Day Jewelry Store at Monroe Elementary
Friday, May 8th 9:00a to 2:00pThis spring, reorganize your costume jewelry and donate like-new items that you no longer wear as a mitzvah opportunity to benefit Monroe Elementary School students. Then join us for a special pop-up jewelry store that gives Monroe students the opportunity to "shop" for the perfect gift for their mothers and female caregiver!
