9:45 AM - 1:00 PMCongregation Temple IsraelRe-imagining TI's Thanksgiving Dinner to meet our community's needs
Based on feedback from our partnering organizations, we're re-imagining TI's Thanksgiving dinner. Instead of hosting our large in-person event at TI, we'll be hand-packing hundreds of boxed Thanksgiving meal kits, each filled with the non-perishable ingredients needed for a family of four to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving feast in the comfort of their own home.
We’re asking for your support — whether it’s through volunteering to package or deliver meal kits or donating toward the purchase of items like mashed potatoes, stuffing, veggies, and cranberry sauce. Together, we’ll provide Thanksgiving dinners to so many through nonprofits such as the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, local senior centers, and other deserving organizations to ensure that our neighbors in need can cook, eat, and celebrate surrounded by those they love.
Volunteer:
- Packaging Meal Kits: Sunday, November 24 | 9:45 am start (we plan to finish no later than 1:00 pm)
- Meal Kit Delivery: Monday, November 25 | any pre-arranged time between 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Donate Meals: *$25 per box
Each box includes a Thanksgiving meal to feed a family of four: canned yams, green beans, cranberry sauce, chicken broth, gravy mix, mashed potato mix, cornbread, and ready-made pie crust with canned apple filling.

Thank you to our Thanksgiving Dinner co-chairs Jenny & Zach Abeles, Jane & Mark Tucker, and Jeffrey Tucker, and thank you to the Margy and Jake Bromberg Thanksgiving Dinner fund for their support in making this mitzvah possible.
We're here for the holidays and so much more!
