Join United Hebrew, Shaare Emeth, Temple Israel, and Temple Emanuel for our June Senior Lunch & Program! This month's gathering will include a fascinating presentation by Mike Truax, President of the 1904 World's Fair Society, and a delicious meal from Noodles & Company.

Monday, June 16 | 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm | Temple Israel (#1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive, 63141) | free to attend; $10 in advance if ordering lunch 

Program: Mike Truax, President of the 1904 World's Fair Society, will relate and show many interesting, unusual, and little-known facts and images from the 1904 World's Fair. These stories include Fair planning, construction, aviation and entertainment, concessions and exhibits at the Fair. Learn about The Pike, the Floral Clock, Fair food, special Fair visitors, the Ferris Wheel, and the demolition and legacies of the Fair. You will be amazed from start to finish, seeing the Fair’s scale along with many achievements that truly made the 1904 World’s Fair "The Greatest of Expositions". 

Lunch: Boxed lunches will be from Noodles and Company and include the pasta of your choice (listed in the form below), garlic bread and a side salad. The meatballs cannot be made without gluten, but the other two options are available gluten-free!

RSVP & Order Info: Lunch orders must be received by Monday, June 9, 2025. and paid for in advance. Please RSVP and order lunch online using the form below, or you may call our front office @ 314-432-8050 to RSVP and pay by cash, check, or credit card.
