Jewish Seniors on the Move

Jewish Seniors on the Move is a program where active St. Louis Jewish seniors can enjoy day trips, tours, food, and friends while exploring St. Louis! Join United Hebrew, Shaare Emeth, Temple Israel, and Temple Emanuel for this month's outing at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center’s Strauss Theater, followed by a delicious lunch from the Daily Bread at Congregation Temple Israel.

9:15 am | arrival to Temple Israel (1 Rabbi Alvan D. Rubin Drive, 63141) 
9:30 am | bus will leave promptly at this time
10:30 am | Live performance with award-winning jazz vocalist Joe Mancuso @ Strauss Theater
12:00 pm | Lunch at Temple Israel

$18 per person includes concert, round-trip transportation to and from the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center, and lunch from Daily Bread which we’ll enjoy at Temple Israel!

Program: Joe Mancuso is an award-winning jazz vocalist from St. Louis, celebrated for his powerful baritone voice and tasteful phrasing. He has been voted “Best Musical Act” (2014) and “Best Album” for Cut to the Chase by readers of the Riverfront Times, and was named “Best Vocalist” in 2012. He’ll perform at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center’s Strauss Theater with the world-class house band Confluence Jazz, delivering a morning of sophisticated swing and timeless jazz standards. 

Accessibility: if you use a walker or a cane, you are welcome to join us so long as you are able to navigate the steps of the coach bus on your own! We encourage everyone to join us on the bus, but if you have questions regarding your own transportation, please give us a call at 314-432-8050.

Lunch: choose from Daily Bread’s tasty selections offered below. Sandwiches come with chips, a fruit cup, and a cookie, and the salad option comes with a fruit cup, dinner roll with butter, and a cookie.  
Gluten free options are available. 

Big Time Veggie Sandwich: on seeded wheat baguette
Roast Beef Sandwich: on French baguette
Chestnut Chicken Salad Sandwich: on croissant
