What’s your favorite Jewish holiday or season of the year? "I love all the Jewish Holidays! The traditions, cooking, and services are so special to me and my family. I enjoy taking the customs I grew up and meshing them with what my husband did and creating our own memories for our family."

“My great-grandparents, my grandparents, and my parents have all been TI members. Plus, my great-aunt was a former TI Religious School assistant director! TI has always been a part of my Jewish journey.

"I actually remember starting Religious School here in second grade. Many of my memories growing up include TI. Whether it was attending High Holy Days services, having sleepovers with the Youth Group, getting Confirmed, or being a madrichim – student teacher. After coming back to St. Louis TI was once again there for me during some of my biggest milestones. Rabbi Shook married me and my husband, Rabbi Amy gave both of our sons their Hebrew names, and Miss Jane was both Sam and Tucker’s first teacher in the Preschool. It’s the people that keep me and my family here. Everyone is so supportive and caring. It feels like a family. I also love learning more about our Jewish traditions and history and then helping to pass those learnings on to others. It’s why I’m in leadership. No matter where I have been in my life, TI has been there for me. I want to do what I can to give back to TI as a thank you.”
