Gather your littles and loved ones for a family-friendly Passover celebration at Temple Israel! You'll explore an array of flavors, each representing a meaningful item on the Seder plate – a tasty retelling of our Jewish journey to freedom.

Whether you are Jewish or new to Judaism, an interfaith couple, looking for an experiential learning opportunity to make new traditions, or simply seeking friendly faces and a warm and familiar place to enjoy a Seder with other adults, we’d love for you to join us for this inclusive second night Seder experience with the Rabbis.

Students will meet with their Hebrew learning group on a weekly basis to work toward the learning goals. Each group learning session will be 1 hour in length. Students and tutors will work together to meet learning goals.

Enjoy a Passover-themed sermon from the Rabbis preceded and followed by an Oneg filled with Passover-friendly noshables, and of course, you guessed it, matzah!

Following services this month, join Rabbi Michael to study some of the greatest texts from Genesis and Exodus. Learn about the Torah’s connection to famous Jewish texts like the Talmud and the Midrash, and discover legendary commentaries and commentators like Rashi, Maimonides, and Ramban. Two years ago, Rabbi Shook began an unprecedented program of Bible study that centered on the New Testament. In continuation of this important study, this year’s class will open with the New Testament book, The Acts of the Apostles. Pre-registration is required for all who wish to attend.

This service is for Temple members who have lost loved ones since the previous Passover and provides a sense of kinship and comfort at being together with those whose loss still feels so unimaginable.
