Meet TI's Shinshin

Shinshinim* are talented young Israelis who have made the decision to defer their Israeli military service for one year to instead travel abroad and become ambassadors of their country.

And, we are lucky enough to have one right here at Temple Israel this year to support our preschool and Religious School and share their life experience and culture!

We're excited to welcome our new Shinshin, Itai. Find out more about him below.

*The Shinshinim program is a partnership between the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, the Jewish Agency for Israel, and local Jewish organizations with the support of the Lubin Green Foundation.
