Temple Israel Religious and Hebrew School (TIRS) is a vibrant, engaging program tailored to suit the needs of our Temple Israel families and provide a strong Jewish educational foundation. Our Rabbis, teachers, and I have a shared vision of educating our students in a warm and loving Jewish environment, where we foster Jewish learning in an atmosphere where each student and their family feel welcomed. We are proud to offer Kindergarten through 12th grade programming where different learning styles are taken into consideration in order to meet the needs of all students.
The goals of TIRS are to foster a love of being Jewish, and a sense of belonging to the Temple and the local Jewish community, as well as making a connection to the global Jewish community and Israel. We want all of our students to be proud of their heritage and to continue to help make this world a greater place for all. Our classes are deeply engaged and immersed in learning about the Jewish holidays, Torah, Israel, tzedakah, mitzvot, and Jewish history, studied at an age appropriate level. Experiential learning opportunities abound and give students the chance to have meaningful Jewish experiences that have a profound and positive impact on their learning.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions, and to schedule a time to tour our facilities to talk further about all of the amazing opportunities our school has to offer your children!
