Dedicating Bimah Flowers, Onegs & Kiddushes

Celebrating community is one of TI's greatest priorities.

We come together to worship during Shabbat services on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings; we celebrate together immediately following.

Dedication sponsorships surrounding these times are a great way to honor or pay tribute to loved ones and friends or simply support our congregation.

Flowers & Foodbaskets

The gift of flowers or food baskets to decorate the bimah is a meaningful way to remember a loved one, honor a bar or bat mitzvah or commemorate a wedding, anniversary, birthday or other notable event. In addition, your generous contribution enhances the beauty and spirituality of our sanctuary throughout the year. You can sponsor Bimah flowers by making a donation to the Shirley Post Floral Fund. Call Ann Epstein at (314) 872-8159 for more information or to make a donation. To sponsor Bimah food baskets contact the Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry, (314) 812-9309.

Onegs & Kiddushes

Sponsoring an Oneg (immediately following Friday evening services) or a kiddush (following Saturday morning services)  helps the community know you and share important moments in your life. To sponsor an Oneg or Kiddush, contact TI Kitchen Supervisor Debbie Jennings via email or by phone at (314) 432-8050.

Sponsorships are noted in the Shabbat announcement and monthly DATELINE newsletter, so please  notify us of your sponsorship intention a minimum of one week before the specified Sabbath so that your dedication will appear in a timely fashion. Call the Rabbis' secretary, Sydney Masin, regarding the wording of your dedication at (314) 432-8050 or send your preference with exact name spellings to her by email.
