Parent/Caregiver and Child Classes
Deutsch Early Childhood Center (DECC) hosts two classes throughout the school year that offer programming geared toward parents/caregivers and their young children. Both classes include exciting and stimulating activities that promote learning, bonding, physical and cognitive development, and social skills.
Current weekly offerings include:
Baby & Me
Baby & Me is geared toward parents/caregivers with infants and children who aren’t yet walking. Weekly meetings are held on Wednesday mornings, August 24, 2016 through May 17, 2017, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, and are taught by Lisa Cohen. Each class is open to all families in the St. Louis Jewish community and you are welcome to attend any or all class meetings. Baby & Me also offers special guest speakers and discussions on topics that pertain to parents/caregivers with young children.
Registration is not required. Walk-ins welcome. Free of charge.
Parent and Child
|Parent and Child is an ongoing program for parents/caregivers of children who are walking. This class will meet on Thursday mornings, August 25, 2016 through May 11, 2017, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and will be taught by Jane Weinhaus and Lisa Cohen. Class also includes playtime at DECC’s outdoor playground and/or indoor playtime in the Muscle Room.
This class is open to all families in the St. Louis Jewish community.
$130/month for non-Temple Israel members, $105/month for members.
