Giving to Temple Israel

Your gift supports our mission to help people of all ages and backgrounds grow Jewishly  through Torah (Study), Avodah (Worship) and Gimilut Chasadim (Acts of Loving Kindness).

Charitable donations over and above dues are essential to the life of every synagogue including our own. Annual membership dues and tuition fees only cover a portion of the actual cost of our wide range of spiritual, educational and cultural activities. Your gift today will ensure that future generations will grow up in a strong community of Jewish tradition and learning.

So, thank you for your interest in giving to Congregation Temple Israel. Donations to our Temple can be made online, by phone, via email or the US Mail, or in person at our Temple's office. All donations to the synagogue are tax-deductible.

EYTS SIMCHA (Celebration Tree)

Located in the Waldheim lobby near the main office, TI's EYTS SIMCHA provides an opportunity for everyone to share the special occasions in their lives with the Temple family.

Each leaf dedicated to those you love in celebration of life's joyous moments will surely strengthen our Temple family. If you are interested in making a Celebration Tree tribute, please contact Lisa Hirshberg at lhirshberg@ti-stl.org or 314-432-8050

Perpetual Memorials

A Perpetual Memorial donation ensures that your name and/or the names of your loved ones will be maintained in the memory of the congregation via the temple's Memorial Book and will be remembered at their yartzheit every year. If you are interested in establishing a Perpetual Memorial, please contact Lisa Hirshberg at lhirshberg@ti-stl.org or 314-432-8050

Wall of Honor:  Some congregants choose to enhance their perpetual memorial gift with an additional plaque on the Temple's Wall of Honor. The Wall of Honor is located in the Kriegshaber Foyer opposite the main entrance to the sanctuary and is a permanent and integral part of the foyer. If you are interested in making a Wall of Honor tribute, please contact Lisa Hirshberg at lhirshberg@ti-stl.org or 314-432-8050
