Shabbat worship takes place on both Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. We offer a variety of worship experiences for all ages.

First Fridays
Tot Shabbat, 6 p.m. - Families with young chlidren (birth-early primary) are invited to celebrate Shabbat with Rabbi Amy, Rabbi Michael, Miss Leslie, and our Deutsch Early Childhood Center families. We usher in Shabbat with songs and blessings. Afterwards, there's wine and appetizers for the grown-ups and dinner for the kids.
Traditional Shabbat Service , 7:30 p.m. - Our first Friday Shabbat service features Classical Reform-style worship with musical accompaniment by pianist Byron Brownstein. Join us following the service for a traditional Oneg Shabbat.
Second Fridays
Appetizers and Wine, 6 p.m. - Join us for a nosh and a chance to mingle with old and new friends before our service.
Shabbat B'Shir Service, 6:30 p.m. - This lively, family-friendly service in song is projected on the big screen and features musical accompaniment by singer-guitarist Rob Aronson.
Third Fridays
Appetizers and Wine, 6 p.m. - Join us for a nosh and a chance to mingle with old and new friends before our service.
Learning Shabbat, 6:30 p.m. - Enjoy a participatory, educational worship experience that weaves teachings about prayers, music and the Torah portion throughout the service. Beginners and Shabbat regulars welcome!
Fourth Fridays
Appetizers and Wine, 6 p.m. - Join us for a nosh and a chance to mingle with old and new friends before our service.
Shabbat with HaShemesh, 6:30 p.m. - This joyous Kabbalat Shabbat service is accessible to all and features musical accompaniment by the band HaShemesh.
Saturday Mornings
Bible Study, 9:45-10:45 a.m. (Oct.-May) - Rabbi Emeritus Mark L. Shook's weekly Bible study class always draws a crowd. All are welcome!
Shabbat Worship, 11 a.m. - Join us for Shabbat worship every Saturday. (There will no Saturday morning Shabbat services July 7-Sept. 22.)
