Our sites use order forms for our visitors to request information, products, and services. We collect visitors' contact information (i.e., their name, phone number, e-mail addresses), unique identifiers (account numbers, passwords), and financial information (account or credit card numbers). Contact information is used to register for events, make donations or payments, to send orders and information about our organization to our visitors who request it. The contact information is also used to get in touch with visitors when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings, emails and distributions (see the choice/opt-out section below). Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for donations, products and services they submit online. Unique identifiers (such as account numbers or passwords) are collected from website visitors for use as account numbers in our secure record system.

 

Information that is collected on online order forms becomes the property of Congregation Temple Israel. The congregation does not sell, market or distribute this information except where specifically noted and will not use it for purposes other than indicated in this privacy policy.

 

Registration 

On certain parts of our site (mainly registration forms, donations, payments and orders), users are required to give contact information (such as their names and e-mail addresses) and unique identifiers (such as passwords, account numbers or related information). This information is used to send website visitors the information they request and/or to fulfill reservations, donations, payments or orders that are created online. The contact information may also be used to contact users when necessary. Unique identifiers (such as account numbers and passwords) are collected for use as account numbers in our secure record system. Personal or account information submitted by users may be used to verify and protect users identity when they conduct online transactions through our Web site. Congregation Temple Israel may use contact information to distribute news it deems of general interest to our users. From time to time we may use online surveys which ask visitors for contact information (such as e-mail addresses and other information). We may use contact data from our surveys to send the user information about our organization. The user's contact information may also be used to contact the visitor when necessary. Public Forums 

Congregation Temple Israel may sponsor Listserv or other discussion groups for members of  its congregation or other users.  Such discussion groups are a free service to enable members to share comments about a wide variety of topics.  Only individuals older than 13 years of age may participate and by participating you are certifying that you are old enough to participate.


Congregation Temple Israel may make the postings to such discussion groups available to its users. We ask that participants refrain from including profanity, obscenities, hateful, and/or defamatory language. Congregation Temple Israel reserves the right to review items before they are posted, to prevent items from being posted and reserves the right to remove any information posted.    


Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE ANYONE FROM SUCH LISTS WHO VIOLATES THESE PROCEDURES.
