Yom Kippur Afternoon Sessions
Wednesday, September 19
12:15 pm, 1:15 pm, 2:15 pm
Our Yom Kippur learning sessions this year revolve around what it means to serve one’s country as a Jew. Yom Kippur is a time for reflection and rededication to our ideals, and our afternoon programming will allow us to honor those Temple Israel members who have and continue to risk their lives for America. We’ll listen to their stories, understand how Jewish values play a role in the decision to serve, help veterans in need, and explore our own feelings regarding patriotism during tumultuous times.
All three sessions will be about one hour in length and run consecutively.
