Every two years the Leadership Development Committee invites members of the congregation with leadership potential to participate in a rigorous leadership development program. The program includes retreats, attendance at Board meetings, classes on synagogue operations, and special events with the Rabbis, Cantor and professional staff. Since the inception of this program in 1977, virtually all Board members have had this preparation experience.
